Day 1 and 2: Discover Litchfield and Katherine Region
En route from Darwin we pause at Windows on the Wetlands then on through Humpty Doo to Litchfield. We stop at the picturesque Florence Falls where there is an opportunity for a guided walk through the vine forest. Experience the dramatic beauty of Wangi and Tolmer Falls, and move on to the termite mounds before arriving at the pretty township of Batchelor. <br />
Make a short stop at the Adelaide River War Cemetery, continue to Edith Falls, where there is time for a refreshing swim. After lunch you will join a 2 hour scenic cruise through Katherine Gorge in Nitmiluk National Park. Enjoy a brief tour of Katherine.
Day 3 and 4: Darwin, Kakadu, Jim Jim and Twin Falls
After crossing the South Alligator River we begin to explore the World Heritage Area of Ubirr Rock where we climb up through the ancient Aboriginal rock art galleries to the lookout for the famous view over surrounding wetlands. We then join Kakadu's fabled Yellow Waters Wetland Cruise to experience the beauty of the Kakadu wetlands.Today in the Jim Jim Falls Gorge area we bushwalk through the monsoon forest. Then a 4WD drive to Twin Falls Gorge, where we cruise on calm water to the base of Twin Falls.
