Top End Escapes 3 Day Jim Jim, Arnhem Land & Kakadu
Day 1: Darwin - Kakadu
Turning off the Stuart Highway, we travel along the Arnhem Highway passing the major river systems and wetland regions into Kakadu National Park. After crossing the South Alligator River we begin to explore the World Heritage Area of Ubirr Rock where we climb up through the ancient Aboriginal rock art galleries to the lookout for the famous view over surrounding wetlands. We then join Kakadu's fabled Yellow Waters Wetland Cruise to experience the beauty of the Kakadu wetlands.
Day 2 and 3: Jim Jim, Twin Falls, Arnham Land
In the Jim Jim Falls Gorge area you will bushwalk through the monsoon forest. Then a 4WD drive to Twin Falls Gorge, where you cruise on calm water to the base of Twin Falls. <br />
Enjoy a full day in Arnhem Land. Visit Injalak Arts & Craft Centre, see Aboriginal painters at work and outstanding rock art with a local Aboriginal guide. Visit magical Minkinj Valley in the afternoon. Explore this untouched haven and see 360 degree panoramic views.
