Based on Melbourne's delightful Mornington Peninsula, the Cape Schanck Light Station makes a fabulous base for exploring the region.The grounds of the Light Station house 2 authentic lighthouse keeper cottages, both of which have actually acted as residences for lighthouse keepers in the past. The cottages can be booked individually as rooms or as a whole. They are fully equipped with everything you might need during your stay.
The award winning historic Cape Schanck Light Station still has a fully operating beacon, one of only a few operating as it did as far back as the 1800s.
