OzXposure - Western Explorer 21 day tour
Peeth to Broome
Departing from Perth, we head north through vineyards on our way to Nambung National Park and the amazing Pinnacles Desert before a short drive to Kalbarri National Park.
We interact with the world famous Monkey Mia dolphins and head further north to visit the Stomatolites and Shell Beach before going out to Warroora sheep station.
Explore the fantastic marine life at Ningaloo Reef before we make our way to Exmouth. We then head out to Yardie Creek in the Cape Range National Park and then go back inland towards Karijini. You will be amazed by the Hamersly Ranges which form some of the most unusual landforms on earth, formed over 2,500 million years ago there are cascading waterfalls and fresh pools ideal for swimming in.
Enjoy a leisurely morning stroll along the huge Eighty Mile Beach before we head to Broome where we spend 2 leisurely days. There is plenty to see and do in this historic pearling town including visiting Cable Beach and viewing some of the Pearling Luggers.
Kimberly to Darwin
Our tour takes us into the remote parts of the Kimberly and we camp near Windjana Gorge before hiking to Emma Gorge where you can enjoy a dip in the crystal water. Next stop is the mystical domes of the Bunge-Bungles where we have all day to explore the magical site known as ‘Purnululu’ to the Aboriginal people. There is also time to visit Cathedral Gorge, Frog Hole and Echidna Chasm before we head towards Kununurra, the capital of the north, where we visit Hidden Valley and the Ord River dam.
We cross the border into the Northern Territory for a visit to Katherine Gorge before arriving back in Darwin at the end of our adventure.
