Darwin to Kakadu
After leaving Darwin, we head to the refreshing waterfalls of Litchfield National Park and then onto the Mary River Wetlands. As well as the abundant bird life, keep your eyes peeled for crocs on our private river cruise! We camp overnight at a secluded campsite at Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge.
On day 2 we discover the ancient Aboriginal rock art at Ubirr before heading to Barramundi Gorge where a hike is rewarded with a reviving swim in the plunge pools. Tonight we stay at our permanent camp within the Kakadu National Park.
Get ready for some 4WD action on day 3 enroute to Jim Jim Falls. We hike to the base of the falls before continuing onto Twin Twin Falls. Enjoy the beauty of the stunning gorge and powerfall waterfalls from boat and boardwalk. We reach our campsite in Gunlom in time to see the vibrant colours of the tropical sunset.
Kakadu and Katherine Gorge
Climb to the top of the Gunlom Falls at the start of day 4 and you'll be rewarded by the stunning views. At Edith Falls, we cool down with a refreshing dip before we head to our campsite near Katherine Gorge.
Paddle or cruise through Katherine Gorge on day 5. There are plenty more chances to get wet in the thermal waters of Katherine Hot Springs before we head back to Darwin.
