Adventure Tours - 4 day 4WD Red Centre Safari
Days 1 & 2
Departing Alice Springs, the first day of your Adventure Tours safari includes a visit to the Outback Camel Farm and a chance to ride a camel before heading onto Uluru. After lunch we explore Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) on a guided interpretive walk. Back to camp for a stunning desert sunset over Uluru before camping in our swags under the stars.
Day 2 sees an early start to catch the sunrise over Uluru and the choice of a walk around the base of Uluru or a climb to the top. Explore the Cultural Centre before heading to our permanent campsite at Kings Canyon Resort.
Days 3 & 4
Explore the many attractions of Kings Canyon on day 3, including the Ampitheatre, Lost City and the ancient Garden of Eden. We head along the well known Mereenie Loop Track where we check out the Gosse Bluff meteorite crater before heading to our campsite in the majestic MacDonnell Ranges.
On the last day of your trip, we explore the Ormiston Gorge before some 4WD action through the ancient track of the Finke River. We head to Palm Valley and Cycad Gorge and enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Western MacDonnell Ranges all the way back to Alice Springs.
