Location:420kms North West from Sydney
Description: Oakhampton is a 1 600 hectares property situated on the shores of Split Rock Dam 23km north of Manila (a fishermans paradise) and 64km from Tamworth approximately midway between Sydney and Brisbane in the New England region. On the property there are Hereford cattle Merino sheep and stud horses. The homestead was built in two parts with the older being built about 1876 and the new part in 1938. There is a large garden with a tennis court swimming pool billiard room and horse riding is an optional extra. The shearing shed is one of the largest in the district and there are large areas of untouched country where kangaroos abound.
