Langmorn Station Hotel

Langmorn Station Hotel
Location:62kms South from Brisbane
Description: Langmorn Station homestead is a large restored "Queenslander" built in 1873 and is the original home of the Creed Family who had migrated from Somerset in England. Four generations later they welcome visitors to experience the real "Australian Outback" and many aspects of a family run stud and commercial Brahman Cattle operation. George and Leonie and family invite visitors to enjoy the Langmorn hospitality and learn about management of this vast outback property and experience the real rural country living. The property of 12 000 hectares runs approximately 6 000 head of beef cattle and on the farm tour guests will see not only cattle but an abundance of native wildlife. See the hay making machinery and the grain feeders along with other farm facilities. The tour will also take guests to the private airstrip to see the Station's aircrafts. Activities include bush walking fishing in the creek and the viewing of some of Australia's unusual flora and fauna. There are many walking tracks from the homestead; flat along the creek bed or mountain walks for the more energetic. The farm hosts are happy to take guests to the more popular walks and pick them up after a day’s walking.
