Description: One of only three B& Bs in Port Macquarie, Woodlands B& B offers country retreat luxury in town. It is located directly opposite the Port Macquarie Racecourse and convenient to all attractions in the area. Set in a hillside of trees, the magnificent landscaped garden extends over 1 acre and presents a magical outlook from the house. The house itself is a large solid 7 bedroom property built for comfort and space. The timber panelling, the softest carpets and the elegant furnishing create a relaxing ambience and the perfect conditions for a perfect stay. Take a drive and check the beaches, walk one of the coastal walks. Follow a hinterland self drive tours, see South West Rocks and other nearby towns. If it's a 4WD, take a drive up some quiet beaches or forest trails. If you feel active, borrow the bikes and have a look around town, try the golf clubs at one of the 4 local courses or borrow the tennis rackets and have a game at T's. You can also borrow body boards, beach bats, beach towels and beach umbrellas - all from Woodlands. But spend some time also around the house. A comfortable lounge beside the pool or beneath the trees is the perfect place to relax in privacy and seclusion. For guests who need to stay in touch with things, daily newspapers are available as well as a broadband internet facility. Tariff includes breakfast of choice - full or light. The menu consists of fresh juice, freah fruit platter, stewed fruits, yoghurt, various cereals, eggs of your choice with/without bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms and hash brown with toast plus bottomless tea or good espresso coffee (varieties available). A BBQ plus the usual condiments and utensils are available in the garden. Accommodation packages are available which include fully provisioned BBQ lunches or dinners (self cooked) and a meal at the award winning Whalebone Wharf Seafood Restaurant.
