Description: Abergeldie is a 500 hectare farm situated 23km west of Daylesford and 35km north of Ballarat just 1.5 hours from Melbourne. The property has sheep and cattle and grows grains and grass seeds. Abergeldie is a Victorian home set in a relaxed garden setting with fruit trees and vegetable garden. The homestead with a large verandah and open fires is furnished with antiques. Guests are offered the use of a large lounge room with sunroom overlooking the garden plus there is a romantic miner’s cottage. Country style breakfasts and dinners are served complete with local produce seasonal fruits and home made jams.
