Description: The Shores Holiday Apartments are located at Blacks Beach, just 15 kilometres north of Mackay's City Heart. They are 10 minutes drive from Mt Pleasant Shopping Centre and five minutes drive from Mackay Golf Club (Ask Kerryn or Peter about the free golf) and the Northern Beaches Bowls Club. All apartments are spacious two bedroom units They are all fully self-contained and serviced weekly. All linen is provided with the exception of beach towels. The townhouse apartments are two level. The bedrooms, bathroom, separate toilet and covered balcony are upstairs, the kitchen, living/dining area, laundry, second toilet and covered patio are located downstairs. The lowset villas have similar features to the townhouse but are all on one level. There are Standard Villas', Beachfront Villas', which are located closer to the beach, and Deluxe Villas', which feature a spa bath, separate shower, dishwasher, wall oven and hot plates, and surround sound system in addition to the usual facilities. All the units have their own phone number for incoming calls, so that your family and friends can ring direct, as well as modem points for connecting your computer to the internet The apartments are nestled within a lush tropical garden fronting onto six kilometres of sandy beach, ideal for jogging, fishing or a leisurely walk. Between the apartments and the beach is the large recreational area including the full size tennis court, volleyball net, two barbecues, picnic tables and chairs, bench seats, and a swimming pool complex comprising of two pools, a toddlers pool and a spa pool. The office provides facsimile and photocopy facilities, as well as a tour desk that can arrange tours to local islands, national parks, and the Great Barrier Reef, as well as having available a selection of board games, jigsaws, books, DVD's, videos, tennis racquets and balls, for the use of guests. Whether it be a holiday, business trip or relocating permanently to Mackay, the'home away from home' atmosphere is perfect.
