Description: Bamurru Plains provides an exclusive wildlife experience on the magnificent Mary River floodplains, just two and half hours from Darwin. Located on Swim Creek Station, this safari-style camp is surrounded by savannah woodland teeming with an amazing assortment of wildlife, reptiles and birds. The camp boasts of comfortable free-standing rooms that are spacious and expose guests to the sounds of the floodplains, a dining area with commanding views across the vast wetlands, a 10 metre wet edge pool and a library. Designed to expose your senses to the magnificent surrounding bushland, the spacious rooms are on raised platforms and offer the best bedding and linen to ensure a comfortable stay. The huge ensuite bathrooms are designed in a rustic chic, natural style with private views across the floodplains. You can also enjoy a wide variety of activities at the camp, including trips on the Sampan River and Swim Creek, animal viewing, crocodile cruises, airboat trips, and four wheel drive safaris.
