Description: Battery Point Manor was built in 1834 as a spacious Georgian-style home for a prominent family. Today, it offers European-style bed and breakfast accommodation in the heart of Hobart's original settlement. The Manor sits on a small rise with views across to Hobart's spectacular harbour and the drama of the island's ever-changing skies. There are six spacious and comfortable ensuite rooms with a choice of king, queen or twin beds, and all but one standard room have harbour views. All rooms have televisions, telephone, sofa, desk, soft lighting and comfortable furnishings. The house has reverse-cycle air conditioning. There is also a two-bedroom cottage with a mini kitchen and harbour views. We believe in ensuring you make the most of your holiday experience and particularly enjoy helping with recommendations of the best cafes, restaurants, scenic drives complete with maps, special walks, things to see and do and experience.
