Description: Beaches Hervey Bay is located at Hervey Bay on the Queensland coast which is the gateway to Fraser Island, the world`s largest sand island. Fraser Island is World Heritage Listed with stunning beaches, unique wildlife, freshwater lakes and dramatic rainforests. Between late July and early November, migrating Humpback Whales visit Hervey Bay often staying in the sheltered waters near Fraser Island for a couple of weeks at a time. Beaches Hervey Bay is situated a 500 metre walk from a beautiful beach and a short stroll from the centre of town.
