Description: The Retreat provides comfort and privacy for its guests with a swimming pool and BBQ area within the complex and bushwalking, swimming and fishing all nearby. The Retreat allows guests the option to cater for themselves or enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the Satinay Bar and Bistro. The Bistro is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and provides snacks and takeaway meals throughout the day. Fraser Island is famous for its natural beauty, endless beaches and untamed wilderness. Discover for yourself, the many freshwater lakes, lush rainforests and dingoes while traversing the numerous inland tracks and surf beaches. Nestled into the hillside are individual lodges that have been constructed from Fraser Island timbers. Each have a verandah and offer 24 hour power, cooking facilities, TV / video, kitchenette, tea and coffee making facilities, ceiling fans and are serviced daily. Amongst the landscaped gardens is a BBQ/entertaining area and a timber decked swimming pool. The main complex comprises a convenience store that stocks grocery lines, fuel and bottleshop supplies with EFTPOS facilities available. The licensed Satinay Bar & Bistro is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Coach, air transfers and 4WD hire are available, bookings are essential.
