Description: City Terraces is a Tropical holiday apartment block made up of 34 one and two bedroom apartments. Each apartment is beautifully furnished and designed to offer you a Tropical North Queensland holiday experience. All apartments are fully self contained, with air-conditioning and ceiling fans, free cable television, hairdryer and direct dial telephone. They each have a spacious lounge and dining area opening onto a private balcony, a fully equipped kitchen with microwave oven and hot plates, bathroom with shower and bathtub, and separate bedrooms. Extra features of the two bedroom apartments include dishwasher, full stove/oven, washing machine and dryer, and two bathrooms. Apartments are serviced daily with freshly laundered towels. There is undercover security car parking and a guest laundry. The large saltwater swimming pool and sheltered barbecue area are set amongst exotic palms for outdoor dining. City Terraces is ideally situated for the corporate traveller - quiet and within the Central Business District. Facsimile and photocopying services are available. The apartments are just a short stroll to City Place and the Cairns railway station. Cairns Central Shopping Centre caters for all your holiday shopping with a host of first class shops (in excess of 180), as well as an international food court, licensed restaurant, coffee shops and six cinemas. The Pier, Cairns Reef Casino, the Night Markets and the Esplanade are only another 10 minutes walk. Along the way you'll find numerous cafes, shops, hotels and restaurants. Cairns airport is only 10 minutes drive from the apartments and can be reached by taxi or airport coach. A tour desk operates from Reception offering friendly, local and experienced advice on all tours, so you can choose which tour best suits your needs.
