There are four beautiful guest rooms all with Queen-size beds and ensuites (one with a spa bath). French doors lead from the rooms onto the verandah where there are spectacular views of the bay and you can hear the sound of the waves on the beach. Come and listen to the Kookaburras laugh have a swim before breakfast in summer or curl up in front of the wood heater in the guest lounge in winter. Walk on the beach and look for dolphins playing in the surf... go fishing swimming or diving... go for a dolphin-watch cruise (year round) or a whale-watch cruise (June-July September-October)... be dazzled by the whitest sand in the world... play golf on scenic courses... or hire bikes and explore the bike trails. One of the must-see places is Booderee National Park where you can go walking visit the amazing ruined lighthouse picnic in the botanical gardens see kangaroos and marvel at the many beautiful parrots. There's a lot to see so try to allow at least two days. Everyone knows Jervis Bay's a great place to visit in Spring and Summer but the big secret is that it's wonderful in Autumn and Winter too. |
