Markets occur almost every day of the week on the Sunshine Coast. The famous Eumundi Market held every Wednesday and Saturday are an iconic reflection of the Sunshine Coast's special culture. The market motto, 'Make it, bake it, grow it or sew it' is passionately observed by it's dozens of farmers, producers artisans and craftsmen who set up their stalls at first light under the shade of massive, ancient fig trees.

Country Towns & Hinterland

Maroochydore airport has direct services from Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide with easy connections to other cities. The Sunshine Coast is just 1 hour drive north of Brisbane and coach and train services run daily.
Taxis operate between Caloundra and Noosa, and west to the Blackall Range. Regular buses service the major attractions.
Day tours are available by road, air and boat. The adventurous can ride a camel or a Harley Davidson motorbike.
